not at all, haven't ruined the flow at all! but..I would say that
Descarte did frist assert that "I am" before he went on to say "I think therefore I am"
this occured in the second meditation the latin reads --ego sum, ego existo-- I am, I exist; what is
a foundational proposition i.e., not a logoical formula, must be believed etc. etc.
